The role of a web/mobile designer

The client decided to initiate the project in mid-July 2015 after the meeting was set up and the requirements were gathered, leading to a long-term freelancing business relationship.

Starting to sketch the initial layout of the landing page in the mobile app to create the initial concepts and ending with the information architecture of the entire application wasn’t easy. However, it was one of the greatest things to happen to me.

One of the basic things I mastered over the years is sketching. Sketching is an essential part of collaborative culture, where ideas are pitched through a sequence of sketches, with each one representing a single idea. One of the successful achievements we accomplished during the Human-Computer Interaction project was creating a wireframe for the application that is usable and understandable for the users.

In 2013, I became a part of the Interaction Design Foundation as a global design ambassador and realized I was gifted an opportunity by Rikke Van Dam.

Creating a community of UX designers in the local country has several benefits for people seeking knowledge of UX design and its alignment with business goals.
